Finally . Back from OBS ! Any of u miss-ed me ? Haha . just kidding ;/
Its one heck of a long post for these past 5 days . Mhmm . Maybe i'll cut it short? Maybe not ;D

Day One
16 guangyang students set off for punggol jetty early morning . There was about 8 ++ schools there too . waited dere for quite a while . Then, we were sorted into different groups . The groups were named after a person who had many great achievements . Examples like Cheng Ho, da man, armstrong, amundsen, etc . Well, i end-ed up in Columbus, Christopher Columbus , to be exact. The guy who went over the 7seas or something.. issit? Not sure ;P anyway, Only Dian, matt,yiru were in my group . Did some logistics stuff, then took a group photo . Left for pulau ubin after that . Got to know other frens in the group, like >>suriya,sheryl,jia sheng, eileen,shermaine,bryan,sajun,qinwei,jeremy,hazirah . there are about 3more names but i just can't remember . Anyway, we were introduced into the stores, and did some boring stuffs x.x
At night , we took out tents to pitch it up at the grassfield near our base . Then we started using solid fuels, to cook rice (; Alas, It started to rain, and we came up with an idea. took a large cover sheet (its for the tent) to cover the food we are cooking . Sang "i'm yours" and some other songs to keep up the mood . After the food was ready, we took it up to the sheltered area with the rest of the other groups. it was a small quantity of food shared between 16ppl, a few of us just ate a mouthful of rice and tats all for dinner . Clean-ed up the area showered, and slept in the tent with qinwei and jeremy at 11pm .

Day 2
Brr!! Freezing cold in the tent , it was about 6am in the morning . Woke the rest of the group members up and started to unpitch the tent in the dark . In the midst of it ,i glanced up to the sky and a bright crescent moon greeted my eyes . it was so-oh bright, compared to the one that can be seen in singapore . There were no shortage of stars either . Plentiful of stars in the sky, adding company to the moon . Ate breakfast , consisting of bread,and oreos . Started to pack for the "camp out" for tues,wed and thursday. did some belaying,etc. left our base at 4pm , carrying around 20kg-30kg+ backpack ,containing 8kg of water,clothes,2life vests ,poncho,shoebags. Crazy. went uphill all the way , till we reached one of the highest peak in pulau ubin, was abt 7pm when we got there . the way up there was Crazy . Almost died while getting there . Pitched up tent, took out all the maggie mee and stuffs. and started to cook !! haha . Tis time ,there were enuf nooodles to go around for everyone ((; no leftovers though . We were all at the point of starvation ! haha ;P
Pitch-ed up the tent , and slept again .

Day 3
one of the most tiring days of the camp i have to admit . we woke up in the morning,breakfast-ed, and started to trek to a reservoir downhill with the heavy backpack . Cheng Ho and Columbus went together, and not forgetting to mention the never ending amount of red ants X.X Finally reached the reservoir, breakfast-ed,game-d a bit , then sat down with a map of pulau ubin , planned the way to get to another campsite which is abt the other end of the island . And i was the navigator . anyway we went up the hill, down the hill, across the seven seas, the sahara desert, and finally reach-ed the campsite after 6-7hours of trekking . CAN DIE YOU KNOW !! The bagpack was the heaviest i ever carried in my whole life . the campsite was at the beach ,wow , we were all like "sigh,tonight's gonna be a good night ;P" haha . The seabreeze was fantastic . had a meeting for Day 4's activity which is kayak-ing . Then jeremy and i were the Sea expedition leaders for the next day, along with 6other leaders from other groups. we planned on the formation,what time to set off,etc, who take the port,starboard,navigator,sweep, and then gave them a briefing . lights off-ed at 11pm . *yawns*

Day 4
Woke up at 4am ,to do sentry duty . then the rest of the groups wake-d up at 5, started to prepare everything for the sea expedition . First splash at 730am, got the rest of the kayaks into the sea in a formation of a diamond shape . And there we went, kayak the whole day X.X there were times when it rains, and the waves were very rough, but it was fun !! ;D Was in the kayak with dian and Raudah ` we kayak-ed till our base at around 230-3pm . Wash the kaya and stuffs, and went to shower. My God lah, dam tired and aching x.x haha
During tat night, we had to cook for a "G-O-H" using the limited food that we had . after the preparation, found out that the G-O-H was us ! haha .had a happy time eating and chatting . After that, as usual, cleared up and slept .

Day5
Finally, the last day, packed the stores till 12am, got our certificates :D and we start to exchange numbers and hotmail address before we were sorted into our schools and then into the ferry .
When we reached punggol jerry, we went to buy the OBS shirts. i bought 2 of them . abt $15 each ;/ then me and darryl cabb-ed home ;D

Well. tats the end of the 5days OBS course ~ There's more to type actually,i'm just to lazy to type it out in detail ((;
